Interesting that among the search results for the obvious keywords in your craigslist post, Single in SCV is among the top. A 1st/2nd amendment event as a way to meet like-minded singles?

I’ll be sure to let you know the next time I am single.

I am in no way speculating about your personal familial status - I just found it amusing that a human or a script behind SCV decided to pull your posting into their aggregator. Good luck!

Thanks for your kind words. Notwithstanding your abstention from speculation, I’ll volunteer the disclosure that I left my sultana at home, whereas my associate Mr. Wong is carrying coal to Newcastle. So neither of us will benefit from aggregation on this occasion.

Despite the historical abundance of coal in Newcastle, I found your comment somewhat cryptic... thought parts of it (I am sure) are excellent :)

Carrying coals to Newcastle is the closest equivalent I could conjure to «ездить в Тулу со своим самоваром».

Ah - that part was clear, though.

The part about Mr. Wong - unless he is literally one of your associates accompanying you at the event.

He is the event’s manager.

i am just going to go on with my life pretending I never read this.

It’s a lot more effective, in ignoring a message, to tell the author nothing about it.
